Watching the Kansas City transmission of the Royals-Astros game tonight. He kept talking about if he was so important to the Astros, why didn't they have him thoroughly checked out when he said he didn't feel right weeks before his stroke. I laughed when he said that he had to go to a baseball game in Kansas City to have someone talk about his new book. You could tell that the guys doing the interview were starting to feel uncomfortable with Richard's bitter tone. He might have been the greatest of all time if he were born in an era like now with the medical advances we have in sports.

If someone uploads it, I'll post the link. I've heard interviews in the past when he has been pretty nasty. I just thought that after 30+ years, and being an ordained minister, he would have gotten over it by now. I don't think I would be too interested in hearing one of his sermons.Comment -
