that will last about 1 week (the viewing of game tapes) you will view, you will bet, you will still probably lose, and that experiment will end. nothing to gain from watching last weeks game tapes. coaches will attempt to get players to fix mistakes made in last game that you observe. don't get it. better off studying line movements.

NFL Preseason Handicapping

There are a few things to remember when betting NFL preseason games. The first one is the quarterback rotation for each team.

Starters don’t play very long early in the NFL preseason so the backup quarterbacks are critical to the outcome of the games. If there is a team that has three good quarterbacks they can really be a good bet.

It is also important to keep motivation in mind when looking at the games. Some coaches want to win while others just want to see players. You need to know what the goals are for the teams as you get involved in betting the preseason. And yes, you can oftentimes get the motivation for reach team simply by reading the local papers of the two teams.

Many bettors don’t like betting the preseason because the starters for each team don’t play the full game but what people don’t realize is that the NFL preseason is a great time for bettors. In fact, bettors can actually have the advantage over the oddsmakers because the oddsmakers put out a generic number. Bettors can read about the game and get quarterback rotations, playing time, etc. before the odds on the game move. Information is huge when it comes to NFL preseason betting.
