For that matter....Houston is elite as well. And I don't even really like Houston. But you can't discount the number of billionaires and mega companies that oil has made in Houston. It's as bigtime as there is.
And honestly....you not knowing that cements your legacy as a dipshit.

#77Again....if you truly don't believe Dallas is an elite city...then you've proven yourself a dumbfukk.

Like JJ says, simple minded "throw u beer and ul dive for it".
I don't get what your hatred is.
Do you know what elite means? Do you know how many people that live in much more expensive cities than Dallas and get paid way less than they would if they moved -not to mention the tax benefits, won't move? Elite is considered like the top 10%.
There is good then there is elite. Most people would not consider Dallas elite.
Anyways, I had no clue what Houston voted the point of the thread was to get some good republican cities. Why don't you just list them? That was the point.
I think Dallas is a good city, like I posted earlier. Houston is as well. Austin is probably awesome too.Comment -

#78Oops, I thought you were big day for some reason. No offense big day.
Opie, I respect you and I recall you valuing my insight on Obama care, (I'm the canucks who stated some views on why Obama care may not be a good idea).
I really don't know too many great cities that are desired to live by most that vote republican, I wanted to find out hence the point of the thread.
You just called me names and accused me of thinking that Dallas is not a great city and missed the intentions of this thread.
Hope all is wellComment -

#79People live in cities because of high paying jobs and career possibilities, not because they enjoy it. And I say this as a person who has lived in a big city my whole life.Comment -

#80Guys the best place to live is outside of a big city anyway right? We love sports (I hope you do if your on this forum) so why not live close to the one (s) you love but still keep arms reach away from the day to day hustle and flow?
As far as moving somewhere simply based on political beliefs feels narrowminded. The under tones of living and representing a specific city and sharing a common interest such as politics, sports, ideals is understandable.
I know for me personally it is a brutal choice for myself right now in life. I see the beauty in too many things, both sides, different shades of women, poker players, etc etc. I guess that makes me a chick lmao.
Well anyway California and Florida are so freaking hard to decide on and the most fukked up part is I'm in the middle of both of them now and I actually like it here
Oh and wanted to add, I just want to hopefully find a community that will have no problems executing someone if your baby girl or boy is harmed in anyway. I don't mean like vigilante justice but if I get jury duty and hear Jodi Arias its DEATH PENALTY.Comment -

You can get these guys to work in the oil rigs in Iowa or something and they wouldn't move.
Trust me as someone who has moved from a big city to a town for a bit, it was brutal. People kill to live in cities.Comment -

#87People "pay to live" because they cannot get out. Rents exceeding market cap rates indicate a lack of supply, which indicates the cost of doing business exceeds the value of the business....means city is dead. No construction = no growth = above market cost of living. Liberal economics is a zero sum game due to (in general) a propensity to over engage in regulatory restrictions and over taxation, drives down competition and slows private development (most urban development is mixed private public).Comment -

#101Liberal and Democratic ran States in AMERICA are a DISASTER today, they always get hit the hardest with everything. Riots, Corona, homeless, drugs, crime, etc.. Those are the facts and they are undisputed!!!..
Gotta ask yourself why that is?
Stop voting DEMOCRATIC and stop being brainwashed by fake news media daily! Rise above that crap and understand what is really going on..Numbers and Stats don't lie..
I cap sports and live by that shiiiit, give me FACTS, TRENDS AND NUMBERS!!!..
That gives me TRUTH!!Comment -

#103Maybe a better title would of the thread would be- "why are the Democrat cities usually the most expensive?"
Perhaps in the future there will be higher paying jobs in Republican voting cities- which would then drive up the price of living there.Comment
