DeAndre expressed doubt with his initial decision and the Clippers jumped in. As much as I dislike them, I don't blame them here.

They have to change the rules. Maybe writing a pre-contract stating the approximate terms with estimated salary cap, so it can be adjusted when real numbers are calculated.

The current moratorium could be used as a Trojan horse to disrupt another team signings. Say Team A secretly negotiate with player X and agree to terms. Then player X ostensibly says he is leaving team A, agrees with team B, which in turn deals/cuts players Y and Z, as they are not needed after player X agreement. Then player X backs off his agreement at the last minute, going back to team A and leaving team B with a big hole.

Media has to be blowing this story up more? No way he wants to go back to LA after he already said he's going to Dallas. I think it's just BS. He's signing with Dallas.

Not sure if serious. He already signed the contract with LAC.

that part is true. Media does blow up everything, most reports are always speculation and from anonymous sources.

typical nba attention whore. The mavs made him feel special so he chose then. Cuban then lauds Parsons for being an amazing salesman. The attention fades. He wants to be recruited again. That said, I expect he comes back to the Clippers with more influence than he would have had he signed right away. #2 in the pecking order now.
