Does Russell Wilson deserve to be the highest-paid player in the NFL?

I think he's pretty good, but I'm not sure he's that good. He is greatly assisted by a great defense, and a great running game. I'm not sure his talents would translate as effectively elsewhere.

Tom Brady statistic wise has to be somewhat near Russell Wilson.. (age wise).

Wilson has speed... has decent accuracy. One of the best 3rd down percentages in the NFL. Manages the game extremely well. He's like Tom Brady again.... (age wise).

He's professional on and off the field. It might be all a show... but he knows what to do to make the big coin in front of the cameras. If Seattle won't pay him... there will be an owner that will pay him MAX DEAL. It's inevitable. No brainer actually.

Cam Newton hasn't proven anything in the playoffs to me. There are some bonehead plays that he made to. Guy is just inconsistent. He's athletic.... but I don't think he gives it all he can every play. If I was an NFL GM for a team... honestly...Cam Newton would be probably the last 5 from the bottom of starting QB's I'd pick.
