SBR poster Cabo won a $10,000 WSOP Main Event buy-in and $500 for travel for his victory in the last free SBR poker contest. Here's SBR Natalie's video interview of this fine young man.

SBR posters also rallied donating their points to get Cabo a $100 Starbucks gift card so he stays focused like a machine!

Wouldnt hold my breathe Ra77er. This isn't like TT or Lou winning the seat. The moment those guys saw the Vegas buffets there would be a smoke outline of them with a trail of fire on the ground. We'd never see them again. Cabo is there to play though. Not sure if he even drinks coffee. Hopefully he at least a likes scones or crumpets.

cabo.... little advice.... don't be overwhelmed by the atmosphere or whoever may be at your table or the table next to you....

pretend you're at a local 40 person $2500 gauranteed trny in an underground poker room.... do what you do, and over time the players will dwindle.....

watch out for the pros, esp the young euro's, who will judge you on age (and depending on how much sbr hype you have to endure, your "amateur" status) to try and take advantage of you........ trust your instincts that got you there,

Did you know that you cant not even show up for the 10 hours of day 1 and still be left with around 21000 chips from your original 30,000?

It has happened many times over the past few years when they went to a 30k starting stack. What you cant do is make the money, but you would blind out late on day 2. You need day 3 to make the money

2) Might be a good idea to get more than a 1/2 table going so that anyone that peeks in to see what this SBR poker is all about after observing the gear/talking to Cabo, etc., doesn't automatically come to the conclusion that it's a rinky-dink Mickey Mouse operation.

Remember, just like w/those hot chicks we crave... FIRST IMPRESSIONS matter.
1/2 only is gonna be looked at by newbie lookers like we have ttwarrior and we're trying to reel in Kate Upton.

I don't think the level of play would be overwhelming. I think it would be overwhelming in terms of all of the cameras, the crowd, etc.... you might sit at a table with Johnny Chan, Brad Garrett, and some weirdo in a superhero costume.
