Re- reading this thread slowly. Boeing likes McDavid which is awesome to read. You guys have snuck comments in between the rah rah banter that I missed. I cannot see him having that kind of an impact with the goals in his rookie season. Nugent Hopkins needs to have a big year if anyone imho. Take the pressure off of Mcgeezy's line to produce. If that happens then the Oilers are going to wreck havok on some people. I don't think Calgary/Arizona/or Vancouver are that much better than Oilers in the current iteration. Obviously injuries...or just plain out terribad goaltending are the things that keep them in the basement. I think a 3rd place finish in the Pacific is very possible. You guys can laugh and bump this if we start the season 2-18-3 but I like what is happening.

They will be better with Mcdavid but do still need to improve on defense and west so tough. Like Scrivens and with a good D he can be a very good goalie. Still think a year or two from playoff contention

TOTAL fukkin disaster guys just skating end to end with very few shots on net

i swear it looked like a drill not even a good one

they did everything except pull the goals up to the blue line and i think they made up a few rules on the fly also

at one point with penalties there was a actually a 5 on 4 i couldn't believe what i was watching

it was embarrassing NHL just weakened their product big time IMO
