#5When we get a new president, as long as martial law is not in effect, we will continue our one way trek to hell without missing a beat. Nothing will be different because the figure heads have no say whatsoever and our fate has already been decided. #11A House Republican on Thursday proposed forcing the Supreme Court justices and their staff to enroll in ObamaCare.
Rep. Brian Babin (R-Texas) said that his SCOTUScare Act would make all nine justices and their employees join the national healthcare law’s exchanges.
“As the Supreme Court continues to ignore the letter of the law, it’s important that these six individuals understand the full impact of their decisions on the American people,” he said.
“That’s why I introduced the SCOTUScare Act to require the Supreme Court and all of its employees to sign up for ObamaCare,” Babin said.
Babin’s potential legislation would only let the federal government provide healthcare to the Supreme Court and its staff via ObamaCare exchanges.
“By eliminating their exemption from ObamaCare, they will see firsthand what the American people are forced to live with,” he added.
His move follows the Supreme Court’s ruling Thursday morning that upheld the subsidies under ObamaCare that are provided by the government to offset the cost of buying insurance.

#13Its been a mix for years, nobody has ever denied the left leaning ones and the right leaning ones...they always run to their corners. But Kennedy and Roberts have been the most rational thinkers in my opinion, they don't do the labels. Roberts has been trashed by the administration and could have easily given the middle finger back to them several times but he's risen above the politics I think...respectably.Originally posted by muldoonAnd yet it wasn't 9-0. I agree his legislation is stupid and no chance of passing...but the care you mentioned isn't really free or helpful. Basically under even the cheapest (Bronze) plan its less than $25 a month premium once the subsidy is triggered but you still have a deductible of $5000-$6000 to meet plus out of pocket caps etc...so those aren't really 'free' not to mention if you do go in and find out you have an issue and need to do a follow up or get a referral you have to pay for that and the headache of finding a Dr in the network and so forth...it really is a pain in the ass real world process setting the political debate aside. Parent at my kid's school is a Nurse Practitioner and I've heard her frustrated many times at people coming in bitching that they thought 'this was free...why y'all sending me a bill, I got Obamacare y'all need to cancel this bill' getting loud in the office.Comment -

#26These are morons, or ignorant people for proper use of that term like a girl inline ahead of me last week...she was talking to the cashier - apparently knew each other from way back- bought her stuff and moved over to the right of the counter still chatting as she was getting ready to leave....proceeds to tell the cashier about her day off...started working at Pizza Hut a few months back and is going to look into seeing if they will stop paying her 'FICO' for her and let her handle it herself because she heard you can get your credit score help for free and consolidate some things...so she was mad that her employer was taking out money from her checks to 'pay on my FICO but it wasn't helping because my credit score still keeps going down and both times they ran it at the spot I was trying to get a bill at' figured she could use her 'FICO' money to pay on a Kohls charge card to help outOriginally posted by pavyracerNot sure why these morons don't understand the concept of deductible. Even the cashier looked confused at how stupid you can be to think thats what FICA means on the check stub.

#31That tiny piece of the bill would have been fine. Its the other 90% of the law people have issue with. Best idea would have been to create an ACA bill for the 5% of Americans who needed it instead of sucking the other 95% of us in and causing problems just to help out the few.Originally posted by Brock LandersYeah, eliminating insurance fuckovers for pre existing conditions is a HORRIBLE thing

early, treat it early to keeps costs down. Plus, your total outlay is 7k (after deductibles) so people aren't relinquishing
their life savings or in debt the rest of their lives.
Wife had her knee replaced. Total out lay 7k.
We went from 1,500 deductible to 5k and dropped the monthly payment a couple of hundred a month. With those
savings, she can pay her own doctor visits a couple of times per month.Comment -
