there is a guy at work who doesn't know me but he loves to gamble and talks out loud. I told my buddie this guy is a terrible gambler im surprised he is still in it before football. For guys who think this shit is real and everything is on the up and up stick to college football and sit out the bowls. Stay far away from the NFL. For guys that know this shit is rigged stick with the NFL and take pot shots in CFB (not many) and bet during the bowls.

Mo as a fellow canuck I respectfully disagree. No sport is Moore gambler friendly than baseball out of the 4 major sports. It's just a grind but it's also good because unlike the nfl you can take a few days off and still have a whole plate of plays.

It's not about self control as anyone who has gambled for a long time knows the NFL is not beatable.

Yeah, you are right. I am waiting for a pound-able angle and I just rarely see these during baseball season. Too unpredictable.

I like to focus on my hobbies over the summer, like drinking and... yeah just drinking.

Im just a bad baseball capper I guess. Did it for years and just couldn't come out on top any season I did it.

NFL is tough to beat but NCAA not quite as hard I think. I usually only play a couple NFL games a week as it is also quite unpredictable.

College hoops really the only sport where I do make a larger volume of plays, but this makes sense as there are like 130 games on every Saturday. If I can't find atleast 3-4 worth playing then I am not doing my due diligence.

I will probably start taking a closer look at baseball. It just feels like such a dart throw early on. Last year I had a few good stretches but would lose all the ground I had made during the admittedly longer bad stretches.

Mlb is by far the sport that is easiest to cap, anyone with half a clue will tell you this. If your not beating mlb you sure as hell arent doing any better in nba or nfl.

If your full time, you need a mental break. Everyone does. All the holidays and breaks the 9-5'ers take during the year are some of professional handicappers busiest times. No break there, Not complaining, I love that. But I also love the two 'dead' months from June 20 - August20. Especially when it's known for and planned all year.
