Zack Greinke and the Dodgers are at -116!!!! Everybody get on it!
Greinke has a 1.81 ERA and the Dodgers need to stay on top. No way they lose tonight.

Greinke is third in the National League in ERA at 1.81, but he's winless since May 5 because of a lack of run support. He's 4-2 against the Cubs in seven career starts, and is coming off seven scoreless innings against the Rangers.
Hammel has a 2.30 ERA over his last 10 starts. His most recent start was cut short after four innings by rain.

Just because they are begging you to take them doesnt mean they are going to lose. Plenty of times in my years people say "dont! The books are begging you to" 9 times out of 10. It comes very close or they actually win. Anything can happen. Books or no books. Play what you feel.

Hammels is probably as good or better then any pitcher in mlb over his last several starts and the Cubs are one of the best teams in baseball (yeah, they are in the best division). Not sure why the dodgers were even favored at Wrigley in this one, though i'm not a baseball bettor.

Such a waste of an ace's production.
How the hell is this team supposed to compete for a championship?

Greinke was the only pitcher who won a game during the NLCS in 2014.

Dodgers: good pitchers, bad run support
jays: good offense, abyssmal pitching
what a waste of talent. They wont be sniffing the world series if they play like this

Yea, but Dodgers have double the team salary of the Jays. Much higher expectations for LA. It's World Series or bust for them.
This will in all likelihood be Greinke's last year with them too. He's got a player option and with the yr he's having, will likley opt out and demand Kershaw type money.. something the Dodgers can't add on to their already inflated team salary.

Dodgers are 12-20 on the road.
Dodgers are 6-19 vs teams above 500.
This is the first time since getting Greinke that the Dodgers have lost back to back Kershaw/Greinke starts.
