Aldridge to Spurs, glad that's finally done. I'm skeptical that he can truly become a Duncan replacement, but if Parker can bounce back and Duncan stays healthy, Spurs should at least make it to the WC finals next year.

Aldridge takes a ton of pressure scoring the ball around the basket off Duncan. More spacing for Parker to drive lanes as well. He will have big bounce back year. They still need another big body unless Spurs think Baynes is the answer

hopefully not, don't want to see anyone over 22-25 y/o signed to fill it out. must tank hard by pulling out the best guys if/when games get close. need to finish with the worst or 2nd worst record in league to give a little leeway with the ping pong balls.

currently, of the top 5 projected guys, 3 are SF and 1 Center so that works well for the Lakers needs. there's a couple other Centers in the 6-10 range. of course, there will be a lot of shuffling in their rankings by season end.

my biggest concern is that he could somehow be the difference in the Lakers winning 2 or 3 more games next year which could kill the lottery. that's why getting at least a 1st rounder in return is mandatory and dumping Young would be gravy.

Hibbert is a bad rebounder for his size, gets pushed around by mid to upper range Centers, and of course will slow the offense down, so that's not too bad overall. i just hope Mitch doesn't get outmaneuvered by Bird on this one. i'm paranoid though that Mitch might be doing this with the stupid idea that the team could actually contend for a playoff spot next year, rather than just focusing on winning the trade.

Salary dump by Indy and Lakeshow just filling a void for 1 year most likely. Love how all these clowns talking shit are acting like this was a make/break year for L.A. getting any big splash free agents that would put them into contention over night lol. Next year is when they hopefully are Kobe free and the real fireworks begin
