The people behind the organization do not understand what it takes to build a contender, they are not afraid to spend money which is a plus however. Money foolishly spent and really not sure where or whom to even begin to build around now. San Diego Padres are poorly ran in my opinion. Playing better at home and squaring up the bullpen will help patch up the leaky ship but the foundation is very weak.

Sidenote: I always secretly pull for them to win because it's the Braves old and expensive team.

I still can't believe the Padres traded away Anthony Rizzo to the Cubs for some Korean outfielder (not playing in the majors or in the minors anymore) and for Andrew Cashner (who nobody remembers unless the only channel you have at home is the Padres channel). Between both Rizzo and Cashner, Rizzo has more highlights and better numbers in comparison with pitching numbers.

Rizzo was acquired from the Boston Red Sox for Adrian Gonzalez. AGone, well he is still a commodity. Rizzo, is in a tug-of-war with AGone for the 2015 All Star game. Today, Rizzo is beating AGone in the starting lead for 1st base. While them two are heading to the All Star game, the Padres have a struggling Cashner 3rd in the pitching rotation with no line of sight needed for the All Star game.

Padres are hamburgers.
