I just got back from Vegas a couple of weeks ago. My last buffet was at the Baccanal, top notch buffet. My two words of advice: go early and don't stand in line for the cold crab legs, the hot ones are in a kettle by the Italian side. Everything I ate was top notch. I highly recommend.

That iMax is sick. Saw Avatar and 300 there.

They try to make it like a locals casino too, because when Maloof was there, he was smart and took his whole client base of old-n-crusties from the Fiesta Rancho and brought them to the Palms. That's what keeps casinos afloat. Great hotels like the Cosmo are sucking wind right now, because they can't get the chain smoking elderly on respirators to play nickel slots from 9-4pm like other casinos have.

Anyway, a movie theater is part of that local casino package. Every major locals casino here has a theater or a bowling alley. They don't care if you're not gambling, they just don't want you to leave the property.

Harrahs has a deal where you can eat at all of the buffets as much as you like for 24 hrs for like $50, it doesn't include Ceasers, but you can pay a few extra bucks and add it on.
