With Kerr, he was getting a six time champion, 3 with Michael who praised Kerr to the heavens, as consultant and as GM and President of the Suns went to the Conferece Finals, was a successful commentator, broke all sorts of rookie coach records, and now a NBA champion.

I do agree that Steve Kerr is just a winner whatever he touches and good for him and plus he does not seem to have any ego… Mark Jackson will land a job and be a very good coach again

I think Kerr was a perfect fit for the Warriors because he was a pure outside shooter himself... so giving Steph, Klay and the rest of the guys carte blanche to shoot 3's at will and play a more open game came easier for him than Jackson..he understands and values the 3 more than a conservative coach like Jackson who's style was more back you down and post you up...Way easier for a shooter to know what shooters are capable of...that being said Jackson did a great job and handled himself with class even though im sure it stings pretty bad.
