Winters the commander in the movie and in real life of Band of Brothers lived not far from where I live. He recently died. IMO that show was in the top three. Loved Band of Brothers, & admire the sacrifice the people in that generation made. I also like to look at the Russian side of the struggle & how the Jews fought to survive. Seen a few movies about the the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, every time I hope the Jews win, even though I know how it ends. One of the best doc's I have watched lately is The Untold History of the United States by Oliver Stone.
