#11064Actually it's not ....YouTube the protests...see for yourself. Not saying every voter on Dems is a foreign interest but I'm saying that's who is against a trump presidency. You watch a Trump rally and you see pro America and then you see the counter to it and it's anti....so as an American voter it is pretty obvious.Originally posted by khicks26WOW bros, that's a pretty general statement. A new group called Veterans Challenge Islamophobia called out Donald Trump for his bigoted attacks on Muslims.

There was a VET at the Trump rally in Chicago, before hand Trump people were saying thanks & being cool to the guy. As soon as he joined the protesters a Trump supporter punched him in the back of the head.Comment -

#11069Vets aren't a monolithic group by any means. Depending on branch you could have 5 differing opinions between 5 vets based on their experience and views of policy as well as time downrange. Hate to see violence at any political event but once you choose a side in a tense atmosphere opinions change in a hurry. Was it the same Trump supporter who was being cool to him earlier or just another group of guys in the crowd who saw the guy once he was in the midst of the protestors?Originally posted by khicks26There not the only ones.

FANNING: Yeah, well it was, welcome home brother, thank you for your service. I mean, I literally got there early and sat there for three hours and had dozens of people coming up to me and doing that. And after they said that Trump is cancelling the rally. After an amazing multi-racial protest that had basically half of the audience there to peacefully protest Donald Trump, Trump said okay I’m not going in there. So I pulled out my flag, it said Vets Against Racism, War and Empire and immediately someone threw a drink on me and I got hit from behind in the head three or four times and, you know, it was quite the switch, quite the pivot, you know, on me. Questioning the narrative, questioning Donald Trump’s narrative, you know, I was suddenly out of their good graces, we’ll say, But it was a good experience.

#11092I never wanted trump but Clinton is just as bad. Whichever party can straighten out economy and get us back into actually making things instead of being a service based nation gets my vote. Bringing back manufacturing jobs will spread wealth around via better career opportunities for anyone willing to put in the work.
Trump backers should be scared of this headline though. Sheldon is the Brock of political backing. Never wins.

#11094NOLAND, Mary Anne Alfriend. Faced with the prospect of voting for Donald Trump, Mary Anne Noland of Richmond chose, instead, to pass into the eternal love of God on Sunday, May 15, 2016, at the age of 68.
Born in Danville, Va., Mary Anne was a graduate of Douglas Freeman High School (1966) and the University of Virginia School of Nursing (1970). A faithful child of God, Mary Anne devoted her life to sharing the love she received from Christ with all whose lives she touched as a wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, friend and nurse.
Mary Anne was predeceased by her father, Kyle T. Alfriend Jr. and Esther G. Alfriend of Richmond.
She is survived by her husband, Jim; sister, Esther; and brothers, Terry (Bonnie) and Mac (Carole). She was a mother to three sons, Jake (Stormy), Josh (Amy) and David (Katie); and she was "Grammy" to 10 beloved grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 17, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 903 Forest Ave., in Henrico. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 1 p.m., with a reception to follow, also at Trinity UMC. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to CARITAS, P.O. Box 25790, Richmond, Va. 23260.Comment -
