#9772I had many friends who were KA. You could only pledge KA if you were born in the Confederate states!
Kappa Alpha is the Fraternity of the South! At my Alma Mater their big event of the year was the 'Light
Gavalry Ball' when all the brothers dressed in Confederate uniforms and partied till daylight. One of the
songs I remember was:
John Wilkes Booth was a Kappa Alpha Pledge
John Wilkes Booth was a Kappa Alpha Pledge
John Wilkes Booth was a Kappa Alpha Pledge
The South will Rise Again
In this politically correct era those sentiments won't fly!Comment -

#9773"Yeah, she's really something, and what a beauty, that one," Trump told Rolling Stone in a September 2015 interview. "If I weren't happily married and, ya know, her father . . . "

In 2006, When asked if he would approve of Ivanka posing for Playboy, Trump kept the creep training going:
"I would be really disappointing — not really — but it would depend on what’s inside the magazine," Trump said.
"I don’t think Ivanka would do that, although she does have a very nice figure. I’ve said if Ivanka weren’t my daughter, perhaps I’d be dating her.”

If she entered politics she's become the first woman president. Poise, polished, nice looking
intellectually sound, likeable. She has everything going for her.Comment -

#9787RNC and Rience Preibus urging rules committee not to change any rules so that they don't look corrupt trying to block Trump. They would if they could but this is all too much out in the public now and the people won't tolerate it. Whether Trump gets the nom or not we should all be glad that he has at least exposed the rigged process that the average person didn't previously understandComment -

#9788It's not rigged, but it is what it is. If was just supposed to be whoever gets the most votes, then that's hat it would be. Very simple. But that's not what it is or what it's ever been. So to whine now about the rules that have always been in place is kinda pathetic. The rule is that if you don't get a majority of delegates on the first ballot then some delegates are freed up and they can vote however. Like I said, if it was simply supposed to be whoever gets the most votes or the most delegates, then that's what the rule would say. It doesn't say that; that's not the rule.Originally posted by Otters27RNC and Rience Preibus urging rules committee not to change any rules so that they don't look corrupt trying to block Trump. #9790I understand that those have always been the rules. What I am saying is that Trump is exposing how the rules are made to give those supported by the political elites/establishment/donars an advantage. Things have to change to get better. Maybe it is time the people rise up and we do away with the electoral college and delegates. You know the RNC would change the rules to block Trump this year if the people didn't know about the process. But now so many people have become aware of the process that they the RNC has to play fair.Originally posted by d2betsIt's not rigged, but it is what it is. #9798I don't think Trump is arguing the rules....he's simply fed up with the BS going on behind the scenes and can you blame him? A frontrunner is being shafted and not being embraced by the Party he is leading....What kind of garbage is that? If some people in the RNC don't like Trump maybe they should have come up with a better candidate that people would vote for over Trump across the states.....accept what the people are telling you, it's not a hard concept.
Any fair and level headed person would want their vote to count for something....they would also agree that Trump seems to be the overwhelming favorite from 18 candidates to the 3 left. Accept the results and move forward.....all of this shadiness to try to stop Trump is what people don't like. People in America like to see things earned on the field....If you couldn't give us a better candidate than Trump that's your problem, but you need to own itComment -

#9799Why should the Republican Party embrace Donald when he has democrat ideals, he's been a democrat all his life, maybe the party sees through his bs. The thing is, the rules were already in place. Donald told us long ago when asked that he'd consider running independent if things didnt go his way, lack of proper foresight is his and his team's fault, no doubt Im sure he and none of his team thought he'd make it this far with the lead he's established, but either run independent now or live with the results. The rules seem shady but they were already in place, therefore to avoid their bs just indy, dont know the rules and all for delegates and how much it would hurt him, but oh well.Originally posted by MoneyLineDawgI don't think Trump is arguing the rules....he's simply fed up with the BS going on behind the scenes and can you blame him?
