#7576Fiscally conservative, liberal (in the true sense of the word, not the bastardized term of today) when it comes to personal freedoms. Not a communist at all. I don't care if you're gay, gay and want to get married, want to smoke a joint or stick a needle in your arm. None of my business. One would think the party of small government would embrace that principle.
Trump is disruptive in the sense he has the old boy republicans scrambling, that's about it. The rest is noise. The closest thing we've seen to anti-establishment in my lifetime (granted, may be longer than yours) is the likes of Nader and Perot, we know how that went.

#7577I'm more anti-establishment than Trump - and I have about the same chance Sanders has of getting the nomination. The only reason Sanders got where he has is a) Hillary bullied every last viable Democratic candidate besides herself from even running and b) she is an atrocious candidate.Originally posted by bruceBRUCEbruceTrump is not anti-establishment

Trump personally is huge business - but he is independent. Maybe a Trump administration would be naturally friendly to hotels, casinos, and golf courses; maybe Trump will be excessively harsh on hotels, casinos, and golf courses not carrying the Trump brand - who knows? Not much risk there. It's a rhetorical question, but who has Obama helped more, Goldman Sachs or the middle class? Yet both contributed huge to put him in the White House, Trump would be a welcome break from that corrosive cycle.Comment -

#7591If not riots, I bet a lot of Trump supporters wont ever vote Republican again. I will NEVER vote for a republican again, if they pull that BS. Some people don't like Trump, so fukking what. A lot of people don't like Obama, a lot didn't like Bush, a lot didn't like Clinton. Bottom line is Trump has won the nomination fair and square and if its stolen from him that would be some epic BS. And it doesn't have shit to do with Trump. Its the idea that these super rich big shot white guys who run the party's think they should be able to override the will of the voters. That is some disgusting BS and its sickening that so many Trump haters are OK with it. Its easy to support democracy when your candidate wins, but anyone who is willing to go along with BS like this when they don't like the candidate who won is a fukking communist.Originally posted by TheMoneyShotAccording to this YAHOO FINANCE News Story...

#7592Ok d2bets, sure he wanted to run. Sure he has a massive ego. Sure his ego probably got bruised when the president mocked him. But the thing is, he did run, the people made their choice and choose him as the republican nominee. Can you say that even though you don't support him, the people have spoken and their will has to be respected ? FWIW I hated George Bush #2 but you know, he won fair and square even though I don't understand WTF the voters were thinking, still don't, but just the same I would NEVER have supported Some BS manipulation to overturn the will of the voters and give it to someone else like McCain or Kerry. Even though, personally I would have rather had either of them, that's not how its suppose to work and I wouldn't want special BS manipulation just because I don't like the outcome of the election.Originally posted by d2betsOh, please. #7593AP states 1061 remain available and Trump has 673. He needs 564/1061 a little over half. 52.5%. Of the 3 remaining he has 55% of the delegates so far. Just the same, if he goes into the convention with 1150 and Cruz 650 and Kasik 380, the American people aren't buying the " well he didn't get 1237 so he didn't win". There were 16 candidates at one point, nearly impossible from the start for 1 person to get 50% +.Originally posted by d2betsAccording to RCP, Trump has 673. Remaining outstanding:
4 from IL
22 from Mizz
plus 910 more (excluding unbound for Samoa and ND)
He needs 564/936 (60.26%) of the remaining. And 303 of those are on the last day, June 7. So he would need 564/636 to wrap it up BEFORE June 7. That seems nearly impossible. So one way or another it would seem that the primaries will go the distance.Comment -
