Irving is a good scorer, good handles, that's about all he offers you. Why have a guy like that when you already have the best player ever and he can play that position. You're playing against a good shooter, might as well play a PG that can play some defense and that's all he cares about.

Love...Who knows about him. Thompson is a Taj Gibson that loves to battle, Love is a softer Pau Gasol, which is an impressive feat. Who knows if his D would help or hurt the team, whoever they'd attempt to play him against, but his offense would be lifting.


I've never understood why Lebron plays with other guys that need the ball to be a part of the game. During the regular season, it's nice to get them in a good position, where Lebron doesn't need to give 110% every game, but come playoff time, surely he can take over for 5 games and play like he is, which there is no need for another big offensive guy. Surround him with defense. Nobody would ever pick Dellavadova over Irving, but when you're playing with Lebron, it's not a terrible idea.
