I think you are right about the Irving injuries - great potential - but can't withstand the NBA pounding. The injury last night was just cutting toward the basket - if his legs can't take that - he might as well forget it. What about some light brace - but, then I guess something else blows out. And considering the Cavs, wiggins would be much more valuable than Irving. LeBron already plays PG, so don't reallyyyyy need Irving. And Irving was a defensive liability in the reg season and historically. Meanwhile Wiggins is a top 10 defensive player in the league and can clearly drive and score too.

Wiggins has a lot of talent but he won't be anything special for a few more years. Very limited offensive game and he is not a top 10 defender like someone else in this thread stated. He is still just a kid on the absolute worst team in NBA. Throwing him onto a roster with LeBron would have been a huge mistake so Cavs went out and got the poor man's white version of Chris Bosh in Kevin Love. Irving for Wiggins was never on the table so it seems the op is unaware how things in real world work. Irving is not going anywhere and should be fine for next season.Comment -
