Many teams book during later playoff dates, not uncommon at all. Also why would they sell to someone outside of Florida?

tampa and nashville are the only two pussy teams that have done this so far, and both against the blackhawks because we travel so well

there were more hawks fans at game 7 in anaheim than ducks fans...you could hear it when they announced the hossa goal would count

Because the buyer is willing to pay the ticket price. Since when is there a residency requirement to buy tickets. Bizarre.

And incorrect on more Hawks Fans than Ducks fans at Game 7. You state you could tell there was more Hawks fans when the Hawks scored a goal, should the Ducks fans have cheered? Also when you go down 4-0 not sure what else there is to boo or cheer about.

Anyways Hawks will win this series. Whoever came from the West was gonna win. And yes CHicago one of the better traveling teams, Vancouver very good too.

Definitely, I am a big Duck's fan, beginning of season you told me we get this far I would be stoked, but now extremely disappointed. The lack of Game 6 and 7 closing last few years drives me crazy. Freddie was broken after game 5 and Toews went ape shit. Gotta say if Toews isn't the best player in the league he is tied for it. But honestly Keith impressed me more. guy almost played more minutes than Crawford. Chicago just battled tested beats

toews is amazing when kane isnt, and vice versa

ducks did a good job of shutting kane down so someone had to step up

i should have put way more money on the hawks before game 7...the way they were talking about last years loss to the kings in the same position, ducks didnt stand a chance

Yah, no kidding I had a lot of money on Ducks to win the cup. I had the chance to hedge in a way taking Blackhawks to win the cup at +600 after game 5. but i just pissed it away on something else.

I feel like that series was so weird, we were a couple bounces away from sweeping, but ya i was at the last 3 years Game 7's and it was as depressing as it can get. Getzlaf was toast, I have to think he was injured the way he was sucking. But we will compete again next year, we need a big time D man and that could be a game changer.

I want Chicago to lose game 1 and or 2 so i can get a real nice series price on them

A lot of people thinking a coin flip series from a series price perspective is a lock one way. Very scary for Blackhawks fan. Vegas doesn't generally just give money away......

On topic I think it is a new trend. Seeing it happen more and more in small market teams wanting to protect their home court/field/ice advantage.
