Here is nhl hockey in 2015, all of the teams have big/fast players and the goalies have equip that takes up much of the net. This is a game of who gets the lucky breaks etc..unpredictable.

Home ice means little in hockey. Goaltending means more. TB pretty damn live as the dog

WHo has Bishop faced that is nearly the offensive power house the Hawks are? MTL and NYR couldn't score to safe their life, and DET got to him a few times. Bishop is going to get F'ing lit up in a few games.

And who has Crawford faced that IS the offensive power house the Bolts are? Det/Mtl/NYR were 10/20/3 in scoring this year. Nash/Minn/Ana were 14/12/11. Defensively they were 15/1/3 versus 9/6/20. Lightning beat the presumed Vezina winner in Price and lit up King Henrik. Don't think Crawford scares them too much. This is Chicago's 3rd appearance in the Finals since 2009/10 (2 Cup wins); the Lightning are 6-2 against them in that span. Isn't going to be the walkover some seem to think.

Or maybe that speaks to the quality (or lack thereof) of defense played in the West vs the East. Say what you want about Bishop; when it counted most he was a brick wall. 1 goal allowed in 3 clinching games. And the Bolts went against much better goaltending, they won't have a problem scoring against Crawford. Closer series than you think.

Yeah I noticed that. Greek when they want they take a position. Pinny has +115. Greek likes the hawks. Then again all money outside of the usa will be on the hawks.

The weird thing is they were -130 TB for game 1 when everyone else was at -115 and the line moved to settle with the Greeks #.

Both goalies don't smother you with confidence given the attacking units of both teams, which makes you wonder....many point to who has the better defense, what about the coaches hawks edge it in this aspect? What about the forecheck or the superior powerplay?

I disagree home advantage will be huge in this series, for pure value & picturing Cinderella Crawford lying on his arse whilst Stamkos n co lift the cup I've made my choice and backing TB.
