Just hit his 18th homer. He & Nelson Cruz tied for the league lead after 47 games. Will they hit 60?
Will Bryce Harper hit 60?

#8aaaaand just when i thought sbr was turning a corner in terms of collective intelligence, a thread like this pops up.... ill offer +500 betpoints to anyone who wants harper HR u 34.5 OR o 59.5 ... u can even stiff me if u want, idgaf. anyone who is willing to take either or those bets is a moron, plain and simple, and if u want to take a shot, by all means go ahead. it just means that ill have filed you in my mental folder as an ignoramus and labeled you as "fade material"Comment -

#18Ya...Will Bryce Harper hit 60 and Bryce Harper will hit 60 are different things. Just like "Let's eat out, grandma" & "Let's eat out grandma". Comma and placement of verbs are important.
If he stays healthy, I think it's possible. A long shot, but possible. He'll probably start getting walked more though. People forget this guy is younger than Kris Bryant. And yes, he does seem like a big doucher.Comment -

#22And people forget he's in his 4th season. Age less important than MLB experience. Harper was just decidedly OK his first 3 seasons. Good, not great. He's off to a torrid start in his 4th campaign, but let's wait and see.Originally posted by daneblazerYa...Will Bryce Harper hit 60 and Bryce Harper will hit 60 are different things. #26Apples and oranges. Harper is off to a torrid start, but he was pretty ordinary his first 3 seasons. We'll see. Age is just a number -- Harper has been in the league 4 seasons so he would be expected to be ahead in his learning curve.Originally posted by Chi_archieagain it should be repeated that Harper is a child baseball genius.... we can't even fathom his upside, he was playing pro ball at 17

. And as you say "knowledge is power", so here's a little. As a non pro you are limited to sending 2 pts a day, so I doubt anybody wants to wait 8+ months to get paid.
