Worked exclusivly as a cab driver when I started years ago in North Vegas. Never had a problem picking up crackheads, whores or gangbangers. EVeryone just trying to make a buck. Those gangbangers always had a roll of cash that could choke a horse.

There are 2 hotels right across the Street from The Mandalay Bay that I stayed at as a kid with my folks that are still there. The motel 8 and thee one with the Pink Elephant I cant remember the name of that one. I remember staying there my dad would take me to Circus Circus in the day,then at night I would fall asleep and my dad would leave me and my mom there and gamble at the old Hacienda hotel all night. I remember staying at the one with Pink elephant me and my buddies could not afford a nice hotel so we would chip in and get a couple night in.I remember the guy saying a room was not ready yet but you guys can play on the elephant while you wait. This was in the 70.s and mid 80;s good times.
