Why do you think that? Houston will have to blow them out, team IQ will not allow them to win any close games.

They proved it against the Clippers when they were down 3-1. They have a track record. They have fight. They aren't laying down. With the home crowd behind them, this could very well be 2-2 after Monday.

I hope it goes 6, but the rockets are playing pretty shitty offense in crunch time.

Houston is 2-0 ATS. Everybody taking notes? That maybe GS is a ittle over-rated (or that Houston is maybe a little under-rated)?

I was prepared to take Houston ATS as long as the series lasted. As long as Howard stays in, I still may do this. I was expecting Game 3 to be GS -4 but seems the books are adjusting (-1).... Shame that the Rockets may run out of time before they crack these guys...

They almost lost 2 games at home if it weren't for 1 or 2 plays.

Huh? The Rockets are dominating crunch time. The Warriors were up by 11 with 2:30 to go in game 1 and by 7 with 1:30 to go in game 2 and Houston gave them a scare in both games. I'd say the Warriors are the team playing terrible down the stretch.

Rockets are too predictable in crunch time. Harden or bust with Dwight being a liability.

What does that even mean? It's certainly not preventing Harden from scoring. If you have watched these 2 games you know Houston has dominated crunchtime. Whether you think what they do is "predictable" or not doesn't matter because clearly it's working on both ends.

It seems like Klay and Curry and everybody else in the free word "knew" Harden was going left on the last play with no pass off, hence zero opportunity to even get a shot off. Yes. That predictable.

Crunchtime is not just the last play of the game... Saying a team can't win a close game because they run a bad last play of the game is ridiculous.

Can the Cavs also not win close games because LeBron goes into his iso bullshit which is equally "predictable"?

Harden did have 3 or 4 turnovers in crunch time of game 1. The shots he is taking in crunch time are step backs from the basket and highly contested. Teams will live and die with what Houston is running in crunch time and survive the majority of the time. Ariza is the best player the rockets have on crunch time, but he needs his feet set and needs to be wide open.

Harden is actually one of the more clutch players in the league. He continually won games for the Rockets in the final minute during the regular season. You have to give GS credit on that last play for getting back and thwarting Harden's run out. Had Harden kept running left he would've seen Jones running to the paint and dished it for an easy dunk IMO. GS did a great job on the last play, but got a little bit lucky too that he wasn't able to get off a shot. It was a rare occurrence and not the norm for Harden on a potential game-winning possession.
