OK, Lets Hear It. Cleveland @ Atalanta Game 1 Picks?

I am liking the Hawks to win game 1 by 7-9 points. Thus, Hawks on the spread. Atalanta is pumped up for this one and are getting no respect by Vegas. Cavs are depleted and haven't faced a team like Hawks this playoffs.
Thoughts?

ATL -1 and U197.5 .... this game is gonna go one of two ways:

Either Lebron blows up and Hawks cant contain him, scores and ton and the Total runs up as Hawks try to play keep up.


But most likely say home court advantage comes in to effect with Coach Bud's "changes" he's been talking about making to stir things up keeping LeBron in check. Kyrie will have limited minutes due to injury. The Hawks will be weary and slow like they are in Game 1's and the Total will go under --- the Hawks will still get the win probably by Free Throws and the Total will be high 180's - low 190's

Irving is not 100% and I would still go with Cavs.

Atlanta has has the easiest road to this point so far and has looked mediocre against average teams in playoffs.

Getting taken to 6 games by both the Nets and Wizards is not a good sign. Cavs managed to beat arguably the most serious threat to them and other clear 3rd best team in the east in the Bulls in 6 games.

Unless Atlanta starts playing like they did during December to February, they are done in 5-6 games.

The 3-1 reg season record means nothing. LeBron missed one of those games. Mozgov, J.R. & Shumpert weren't even on the team for the first 3 matchups.

Got go with coaching in this first game. You know Budenholzer has gotten some pointers from his friend Pop on dealing with Lebron. Blatt will be a liability and cost this team a game at least in this series. Great value on ATL -1 at HOME Theyve been through the fire with Washington much more so than Cavs have with the hapless multiple drought having Bulls over last couple games

I've been on a tear lately with NBA so i'll give a brief analysis of this game.

-Regular season is out the window. It's all about matchups and production.
-The Cavs beat Atlanta when: Lebron scores more than 30 + Irving scores more than 20 + A 3rd contributor with 12-15ppg.
-Lebron FG% shooting has been low in the playoffs.
-Irving gimpy.
-Carroll will be covering Lebron and he reminds me of Kawahi Leonard.
-Shumpert will play good D on Korver.
-Teague might give Irving the business if he's not 100%.
-Tristian Thompson will not have the same impact on the offensive glass.
-Hortford and Milsap will beast tonight.
-Schroder vs JR Smith wash.
-Budenholzer has Pops playbook on Bron.
-No easy baskets for Mosgov
-Hawks at home.

I don't think the Cavs have enough to get a win tonight. They might get 30 from Lebron, but i don't think Irving will out perform Teague enough to get the win and i don't know who steps up to give them that 12ppg. It's not an easy choice but i'm going with the Atlanta Hawks. Most likely Atlanta ML
