Kluber with 18 K's last start, he has 11 K's through 6 innings tonight. He's gotta be close to the record I'd imagine.

    good question

i'm sure Big Unit, Nolan, Clemens, Seaver have had over 30

a good start would be to look at the games before and after some of them threw their 20 or 19 K outings

My money on Ryan, dude had 300+ Ks like every year. Had to have at least 30 in back to back games a couple times... he played forever too

just manually looked up the start before and after Kerry Wood's 20

he had 9 the start before and 13 the start after

                so Wood had 33 from may 6 1998 and may 11 1998

Great to see kluber back in form. He may only win 12-15 games this year, but could sniff 300 K's and ERA will be around 3.00. He has 75 K's already this year, 260+ last year. Hell of a pitcher who just had a 3 or 4 start rough patch. Kluber and Harvey are a lot alike. Power guys who go right at hitters. Being a similar pitcher in my day, I love to see that now a days

always liked Kerry Wood, had a ton of potential to be a Seaver/Ryan kind of guy, just got injured a lot
