only when i thought i'd give "professional poker player" a try during the wsop a few years back..... and wife did come to vegas on the weekends..... was there 2 1/2 weeks.....

was so mentally exhausted at the end of each day (usually around 1-2 am), came straight back to the orleans and crashed until an hour before my start time the next day (my wife wisely chose to put me up there instead of the palms, as the avg. age orleans patron is around 75..... and the palms has hotties running around all over the place).......

was boring as hell except for the poker playing.... had a great time, broke even and paid for the two weeks playing the daily deepstacks, two bracelet events, and juicy cash games)......

but i am curious what your reason is?

you get a lot of bang for your buck in the housing market there

you can get a house that would 800,000 anywhere else in a gated community with a private pool for around 200,000

what state could be better than Nevada?

I've taken many trips to Vegas alone. Went for 3 days during March Madness year before last.

I love going solo. I don't typically stay up that late anyways, and never go to clubs or shit like that. So it's perfect for me.

The Mayan on Beatdown was the greatest video I ever saw the SBR Opie has it it will not post it

The kid was talking dirt about Opie at the bash and He slapped slap the shit out of him.

Mayan was all jacked up to and can barely move any body parts because he lifts so many weights he basically had movements of a robot

It was a few quick hard slaps and that was the end of it kingmayan did nothing

I did once. Was living in Chicago and working a project near SF. Was tired of long flights every mon and fri so hit up Vegas for a weekend instead of going home. It was ok. I got bored as well. Fun for a bit but got old quick. I'm not into clubs or hookers so really did it to save a few hours on a plane. If I did it again I would spend more time at pool and less at tables
