Corey Kluber no hit through 6
Looking like the 2014 Cy Young winner. No hitter through 6 with 13 strikeouts.

Kluber has one of the best games in MLB History going right now

Kluber has one of the best games in MLB history going right now.... no hits no walks, 13 Ks thru 6 innings... has anyone ever pitched a no hitter with 20 Ks?

hit a guy in the 1st for the only baserunner

Being a Cleveland fan and living in Ohio, this season has been very difficult to watch. I need this.

His pitch count is over 100. I don't think he stays in for the 9th since the no-hitter is gone. But then again they need to give Cleveland fans something exciting to talk about in the morning for once.

113 pitches.... dude had a chance to break the all time major league record for Ks in a 9 inning game and they fukkin pull him.... i would understand if he had 130 pitches or something, but 113? cmon indians, give us something to cheer about. that was one of the top 5 games pitches this millenium the way it was, and had a chance to be one of the top 5 games pitched of ALL TIME!!!

How could it be a top 5 game of all time when there are more than 20 perfect games and countless no-hitters, and this guy let up a hit???????

I didn't watch the Kluber game but I can tell you many of those perfect games in history weren't necessarily dominant.

exactly, this was as dominant as a performance as Ive seen in a long long time.

gave up one hit and one hit batsman, and not even a single ball in play that was close to being a hit other thna the actual hit. Cards put 7 balls in play in 8 innings, how many times has that been done?

not just personal stats, its to get the fans involved and get the team momentum... if he stikes out 21, which no one has ever done, it can kickstart a struggling team. if allen blows that save it absolutely KILLS the psych of the Indians

here's how this performance by Kluber stacks up all time:

2nd pitcher in last 100 seasons to strike out 18 in 8 innings (Randy Johnson)

                                                    5th time since 1900 a pitcher has 18+ Ks and 0 BBs
