@Stevenash: Yeah you are absolutely right about that they can't hit LHP. Should have checked that.
Which site publish hitter vs LHP?
/Thanks
Almost all of them do.
Find the "splits" section, use the drop down bar.
Here's an example, I was just handicappint the Giants game tonight, they face a pretty decent LHP tonight.
So I was wondering how they fared against LHP.
Here fool around with the "splits" option.
Find "splits" in the middle of the page.
Drop down to "pitchers"
Drop down to "vs. right/vs. left
Get the full batting stats for the 2025 Regular Season San Francisco Giants on ESPN. Includes team leaders in batting average, RBIs and home runs.
Baseball, like no other sport, is math driven.
Anybody want to debate this with me astutley can do so.

i dont care if its your trend or not, if I see bullshit, I call bullshit. Maybe you dont do it as often as other posters, but one time is too many in my book. You didnt post a single thought pregame about who would win, yet midway through the game you acted like a douche because someone was backing Oakland. Thats the shit around here that makes this place such a joke... We have too many post game geniuses. Be part of the solution, not part of the problem. Im making it a point to call out any post game genius comments I see from now on, I dont care who you are. If you dont have the balls to say it was a bad pick before the game, you lose your right to criticize it once the game starts.

I don't chest pound, because soon I will go cold. Then get hot again, then get cold.

That's the point I am trying to drive home to you, and I am trying to do it without getting down and dirty.
Maybe level headed talk will make sense

What did I just say, I was not sticking it to him, was just asking why?
So, if your motive is to comprehend my words into getting me to bite into an e-war, it's not happening.
Now I deleted number 1) because it was a knee jerk response to Bear laughing at one of my two 'minor' plays that lost yesterday, neglecting to point out I won four bets.
This is what I posted around 10:45 am
Oakland vs. Boston
Things I'd rather do besides bet unders.
1) XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
2) Puncture my ear drum with a bic-pen
3) Bludgeon my temple in with a spade shovel.
Rooting for unders is like watching paint dry, it's like being waterboarded.
Now, having said all that, I really like the under 7.5 of this Oakland game.
Why?
a) It's get away day, They are professional ball players and all, I get that, but the mind set on get away games is let's get this game over with and move on.
I wish I had the stat handy on the over/unders on get away noon day games, I can get it, but don't have the time, but I bet you the under covers more than the over does.
b) Oakland can't hit LHP.
They are putrid, and here are the facts.
They are 27th out of 30 teams with a .208 average versus LHP.
They can't hit them, they can't score off of them.
They have 2, just two HR's off of LHP all season.
Semien the SS, and fat Billy Butler are the only two that hit .300 or better off of LHP.
The other seven regulars are .250 or much worse.
I know, I know, Wade Miley is not Steve Carlton or Chris Sale or even Larry McWiliams, but a lefty is a lefty and they can't hit them.
Looking at it from the other side.
Boston bats has cooled down, and they face Sonny Gray who isn't elite yet, but can see elite from where he sits.
Gray is unbeaten at 4-0, been lights out pretty much all season.
The supporting numbers are eye-popping, 1.65 ERA, 1.00 WH/IP, and 44 K's is pretty much one an inning.
Boston ain't touching him.
So what we have here is a lights out ace against a lefty whose team can't hit for shit against LHP.
This game screams of under 7.5
That's the play of the afternoon under 7.5
*note I am seeing some shops offering 7.0 now

Here's another example.
Cole Hamels is an elite lights out LHP.
Oakland is 27th versus LHP
Pittsburgh is even worse. They are .204 they are 29th
Get the full batting stats for the 2025 Regular Season Pittsburgh Pirates on ESPN. Includes team leaders in batting average, RBIs and home runs.
Why would you bet Philly, even with an elite LHP on your side, when their team can hit LHP or RHP.
And why would bet, even if they are the better team, that can't beat a AAA LHP, no less Cole Hamels?
But wouldn't one consider an under wager in this one.
I don't know hockey, I am stupid when it comes to golf and NASCAR, baseball I love to talk about.
OK, let's go Oakland, get three runs for you guys, I will do a happy dance if this game winds up 3-2 or 4-2 Oakland on top.

Oh, so a 110 and 86 pitcher pitching for dreadful teams doesn't make him elite.
Dude, he's in the same class as Sale, but why bother proving to you Hamels is elite.
I get it, you don't like me, boo-hoo, I'll get over it.
BOOM! I'm over it.

I dont hate you nashdaddy... i just am sick of so much of the crap on this site. I know you know your shit when it comes to MLB, and that was a great right up on the BOS/OAK under play. It just came across to me like you were looking down on the Oakland -141 pick, and while you didnt say shit about it before the game, you found it necessary to criticize the pick mid-game. I fukking hate that more than aything. Maybe you weren't trying to sound like a prick, but it came across that way to me.
Not gonna argue with you about Hammels. He's barely a .500 lifetime pitcher, with an ERA in the mid 3's. Thats not elite to me, and the Phillies were one of the best offensive teams in the league for a good part of his career. Only the last couple years have they been dreadful... I dont think he sucks by any means, but I consider him a solid #2 starter. If he's your aace, I dont think you have much shot at being a contending team. He wasnt the ace when Phillies were good (Halladay and Lee)... and when he became the ace, the Phillies started sucking.
