ATS parlays must never be more than 2 teams.
The more teams added to your parlay the greater the square your bets becomes.

Saying you hope to go at least 1 for 10 on 10 to 1 shots is really no different than hoping to hit 53% on -110 lines. It ends up being more or less the same thing. The bottom line is you have to make enough good picks at whatever odds you're betting on.

I only bet parlays when I'm bored or when I'm on a losing run and want to stupidly try to get it all back at once. It worked once which will probably put me up on parlays for life though.

i do parlays because im not disciplined enough to bet one game at a time... Im not the type of gambler to gradually turn $1000 into $10,000 betting 1% to 5% of my roll one game at a time. Takes patience and discipline, which I dont have. I realize my shortcomings. Thats why I made a living playing MTTs instead of cashgames when I played poker professionally. Its kind of the same principle. Its the hunt for the big score that keeps my head in the game. While I've yet to hit that 5 figure parlay for a peanut investment, Ive come extremely close several times, and hit some nice 4 figure scores along the way.

I tend to agree with your points but for me the only time I really do parlays is when I look, study, and cap the board and see multiple games that I absolutely LOVE and then I'll do a two - four teamer for a buck or less......teasers are my specialties and had another profitable year in football and basketball doing them...but for the most part, I tend to stick to just straight wagers...

thanks Jay......we are all here to make $$$$.......and like I told staxx, if I see a few games that I really like, then and only then will I consider doing parlays/teasers...and a lot of times those extra points come in handy.
