As talented as Bayern is, Barca is red red hot

Barca to win and both teams to score at Nou Camp, but Bayern will qualify at home.

going barca o1.5 goals big. i just can't see a backline consisting of weiser, boateng, benatia & rafinha stopping messi, suarez & neymar.

bayern barely has a bench tomorrow, since rode also got injured and is out the rest of the season, there bench is basicly martinez + dante and then a bunch of people from the b-team or u18 squad.

messi, suarez + neymar are arguably top 5 attackers in the world.

because benatia is back, and dante is to slow to play as a wing. weiser and rafinha are much more likely to start over him.

              edit:

              my bad forgot about bernat.

so i guess it'll be bernat - boateng - benatia

weiser + rafinha on the bench

              midfield - schweini - lahm - thiago - alonso

gotze muller and then lewan (if he's cleared to play)

bench dante - weiser - martinez

                      Under 2.5 goals @ 2.18

Pep knows he can't get into a shootout game with the red hot Barca. He will instruct Bayern to play as slow as they can, control the midfield by passing sideways and create 1-2 good goal scoring chances. Barca will still be favourite for the win but maybe only just, 1-0.

i don't think they are gonna have much luck controlling messi, suarez or neymar. not with a midfield consisting of a non matchfit schweini and alonso. benatia is just back from injury aswell, same for bernat.

barca will probably have posession numbers in the 60's.

pep isn't some mandrake wizard like coach, if you look at bayerns results with him at the helm they are really nothing to write home about considering bayern has the best squad since the 70's currently.

lewan has been unable to even complete the training sessions the last couple of days, because of the bruised ribs and shoulder knock he also suffered in the game where he broke his nose, fractured his jaw and got a concussion. they won't even make a decision on him until after practice tomorrow.

as for müller he was rested this previous weekend with a knock he suffered.

same neuer who let 5 past him when they faced wolfsburg in the domestic league? or the same neuer who let in three against porto?

this time its neymar - suarez - messi , it's not brahimi - ababacar - quaresma (or tello)

I guess BARCA will win this match or either end on a stalemate, technically the German team or Bayern were supposedly the favourites if only Robben, Ribbery, Alaba and Lewandowski could make it on this match. It will be hard to equalised the talent of Messi, Neymar and Suarez the Catalans goalscoring man at UCL.

regardless of the position bayern are in with injuries and all and the possible game plan's pep has I think O2.5 is a steal with these 2 teams. I mean barca should be able to bag a couple easy and bayern i would never count out scoring.

i think the most important thing in regards to peps gameplan for the game is to make sure they nab a away goal, other then that just try and keep the numbers from escalating to far. a 2 - 1 at best or 3 - 1 at worst and he'd be happy to take that back to munich for the return leg.

Barcelona to win should be safest bet, i don't trust our "second team".

As a Bayern fan i will be very happy if we only lose 2-1.

i mean let's be realistic here, if we look at the above lineup projected, how is it any better then what psg, city, would be able to muster up? and would anyone be sitting here making a case for a u2.5 if it had been either of these two teams? so the equalizer is what? pep?

eventhough his results aren't that impressive at all given the quality of squad he has to work with, bayern has the best squad since the 70's and they got absolutley destroyed last year by real, and they've had a really benificiary way to the semis so far drawing shaktar and porto for the knockout stages.

barcelona went through city and psg and won every game. even with a full squad i'd favour barcelona giving their form to win at camp nou.

Don't think Bayern will take a high pressing approach - Pep knows that Barca players can pass around this very easily - first touch passing in triangles - Messi, Iniesta, Rakitic, Busquets incredibily high technique - shouldn't be many fouls - Pep will look to sit his positionally sound defensive players - Lahm and Alonso - in front of defence to cut out the middle of the park - where Barca are so effective - more interceptions than tackles.

Suarez, Messi and Neymar in ridiculously good form - full of confidence coming into this game - Suarez will be eager to continue his goal scoring form and will not be afraid of being greedy and taking shots from all over - this is what he is best at.
