Are you proud of being a gambler? Would you/Do you wear your SBR/Poker Stars/Casino apparel around in public?

Me, I am proud to be reasonably good at betting/DFS/Poker and sport around my SBR & Poker swag. It's something so many fail at.

A man should take pride in being a good father, one should take pride in excelling in a career/job.
Or achievements like completing a marathon of 26 miles, or getting some kind scholastic honor.
Along those lines.

Exception: "I won the WSOP, and I'm damn proud of it" That's more than OK.

I will never forget how proud I was to cash a 3 teamer for like 450$ thought I was this big dikk and the guy at the window next to me literally was cashing about 10gz. Felt like that scene in original Ace Ventura when the guy looks over the stall and laughs at ace. I just heard the kid working at the window count to ten a few times and then say "Sorry man this is the only way I can count it" With a GIGANTIC stack. Guy walked out of there with a stack of cash u couldnt even fold there was so much cheezay.

Plus, there was a time it was like stealing money. Gambling paid for many vacations, TV's, nights out and gifts. It had afforded us a nicer life style. Back then I had the time to keep up with everything. Now its harder and I dont have the time. Too hard.

I give kudos to anyone still doing it and making money.

Shouldn't be proud to be a gambler. Can be a fun hobby if you can keep yourself in check, but it's nothing to be proud of or brag about. If you're a young single guy, or even have a girlfriend, and you're "proud" to be a gambler then you should re-examine your priorities in life before you end up broke and lonely.

Gamblings a hobby you deposit $50-$100 play a couple parlays,a couple all ins and see if you cant get your self $700-$800 and then take a nice weeknd trip.Its not gona make a difference in your life if you lose that little deposit.
