I think Memphis has a chance if they can frustrate Golden State. They have the defense to do it, but do they have enough offense? Golden State defense is very good, and you dont hear about it because of their offense. That series will come down to officiating. It will actually benefit Memphis if the game is called tighter. GS gets away will murder underneath on offensive rebound opportunites, and they don't respond as well to adversity as Memphis does.
Rockets/Spurs will come down to Rockets 3 point shooting... if they go cold they got no chance. Harden needs to play team ball and not try to beat SA by himself. I think he is mature enough to do it now, and pick his spots to take over instead on trying to take over from the get go.
Cavs/Bulls is interesting. I dont think losing Love hurts CLE as much as people think. They are a tougher team with Tristan Thompson playing the 4, which will be a good thing against Chicago. I think the winner of this series will win the East. I'm a Cavs fan, but I got money on the Bulls winning the East. Derrick Rose is the key. He just needs to keep the turnovers and badly missed shots to a minimum, even if it means averaging 12 pts a game. Sometimes he tries to do to much, instead of relying on Butler and Gasol to carry the offense. Bulls are a great tema when they dont turn it over and share the ball offensively. Bulls bench is a big advantage over the Cavs bench too, this will be key
Hawks/Wiz will go 6 or 7 games imo. I'll be tempted to take Washington in this series, especially if they lose game 1. Hawks are a different team at home than on the road though. Hawks gotta beat the Nets first though, that series is gonna go 7, but I think Hawks roll at home.

Lol at spurs being favored. First of they haven even won their own series.
Spurs would be dogs. Houston is a better team with hca.
Cle will be -145 tops.
Atl will be -200.
Gsw will be -225.

Why does everyone except me and Lakerboy think Spurs would be such a solid favorite?
Houston is pretty even in talent with homecourt which is pretty big
I guessed pick em

Memphis is tough as hell to beat at the Grindhouse and have the defensive mentality to play close games and pull off an upset
I'm stunned by that series line to be honest and love the Warriors this year
Might make a big play on Memphis just based off of principal

You're probably right...The line just seems really off though, to all of us
Guess that's usually for a reason

agreed, at first I was like whoa, I gotta throw something on Memphis, but how much of a chance do they really have? They are tough enough, but they just dont have the offense. I think a good move for them would be to put Tony Allen on Curry and see if he can frustrate him into some turnovers and missed 3's. Calethes can guard Thompson. This is all assuming no Conley. Golden State is also a tough team inside with Bogut and Green. Iguodala and Thompson are also good defenders... only thing Im sure of is Randolph/Green will each get multiple techs/flagrants. Its gonna be a physical series, an the refs will play a huge factor. And if its anything like the entire year has been, Warriors will get the good end of it. Best way to beat GS is to frustrate them, they are not the same team when faced with adversity. Curry pouts when when a call goes against him, and Green/Bogut are hot-heads. Memphis gonna need a lot of offense from Jeff Green... doesnt mean alot of points, but alot of quality basketball plays from him. No turnovers and bad shots...
