The fans have got to be absolutely livid about this. Makes it tough to get off and work and have time to eat dinner and get a buzz on before the game

eh, i'm going to Tribe game tomorrow and I couldn't care less about the time change. my understanding is that, at least in Cleveland, it's an effort to get attendance up in April while school still is in session and weather still is chilly. April attendance always sucks and now Tribe has to compete with Cavs again (at least until James quits, fakes an injury and shoots lefty FTs once they face an opponent with a pulse), Tribe needs every leg up they can get.Comment -

Just read, Red Sox are doing this for 2 reasons. To get kids to the ballpark earlier and home earlier on week nights, and secondly to have people come direct from work, (to spend more at concessions). I.E, not going to dinner or home first before the 7pm start.Comment -
Avoiding freezing temps at around 10:00 ET? Notice those games are only in cold cities.Comment
