I think I remember you telling this exact same story before. I've seen the majority of the UFC fights(I guess that makes me a savage) that have ever happened and I don't recall ever seeing anything like this. There have been some brutal slams but nothing like what you are describing. Do you happen to remember either of the fighters involved in what you are describing?

Boxing is more brutal because if a fighter is knocked down in boxing, they just give him a few seconds to recover and then the fight continues. In MMA, the other fighter just follows him to the ground, punches him once or twice and then the fight is stopped. In boxing, the guy could get knocked down repeatedly and get brain damage as a result.
