#40About 2007 or 2008 I had 40k in sportbet and 40k in youwager at the same time. I ran them both up at the same time with 2 $500 or so deposits. I happened to post that I ran one account up to 40k on another forum since someone asked, and some dufus named viego dinosaur thought I was telling a tale. But anyway it is true and can probably be proven since those books are still around. I was unemployed at the time too. I am working now and can barely afford a $500 deposit. Haha what a shitshow my financial/gambling life has been the last few years.Comment -

#41I use to keep over 10k at books all the time. No way that will ever happen again.... a book can crumble any day they want. Be foolish to have anything over 10k.Comment -

#42I feel the same way. 10lk would be my absolute outer limit these days, and I would have to be on a hell of a winning streak to not grab it long before that.Comment -

#48Yes, I have, but be careful. Ensure that you use a credit c a r d does NOT charge a foreign transaction fee. Otherwise you get hit with a 3% fee. Capital One has certain cards that do NOT charge a foreign transaction fee.
Register the card with the book as soon as possible as to not delay withdraws. Pay off the card immediately. NEVER use credit to finance gambling. Just my opinion.Comment -

#54Starting small for now, learning the odds and ends of betting last 5 years. Try and turn a $50 deposit into as much as possible at a time.Sad when betting for 2 weeks was more than my part time paycheck. Most is probably right now at $800. Waiting to learn discipline, secrets of futures and sharpen my edge then I will add the extra 0s baby.Comment -

never made it that high.
I know what you mean about going on a bad run. I was on an unbelievable hot streak until Feb. 1st Super Bowl Sunday (Lost my Seahawks Futures bet bc of Pete Carol) and I have not had much luck since...
going to see how long i can go without gambling and come back strong i hope. This time i want to be more disciplined and stay away from parlays.Comment -

#57I've had some really sick runs in my gambling career up and down. My most memorable was years back I deposited 2k on bookmaker and within 3 months I ran it up to 95k betting NBA... No bankroll management or nothing just betting reckless ... ofcourse i lost it all within a matter of weeks.. Also had like 40k on bodog back in the day getting that out was a bitchComment -

I was at like 246 and wanted to get to 250 and went on a wicked losing streak. Was nba jam on fire hitting parlays and big hits left and right. Havne;t had any luck even close to that since prob down 30k since atleastComment -
