As many have said...A for intentions sam, that's not a bad way to do the tiebreaker; certainly better than something like cashes, which indicates the opposite of skill if anything. I'd still lean towards a tournament with all tied participating, played until however many spots are left (in this case, first person out loses)....but your format wouldn't be a huge deal. Except for the fact it was changed at the last minute; that's the only crappy part, and it's kind of a big one

not at all fair to invent an arbitrary tiebreaker right at the end. The tiebreaker announced was for a tournament, so have the tournament for everyone tied for the last spot(s).

should not be a tiebreaker IMO, it should be number of cashes.
but, you decide to do a tiebreaker and change the rules at the last second, im sure it would have went over well if washington and toronto would have done a 3 point contest instead of the 5 minute ot yesterday.
it might work out anyways if jimmy doesnt show, but that is besides the point.
