Until you realize that nothing matters but the final score, you will always be a losing bettor. Golden State creamed the Pelicans today but couldn't cover the -12. There's no way you would bet the Pelicans by watching how they played, they're not even close to the Warriors, but yet choosing the Pelicans with 12 was the winning bet. Human error - that's the X-factor in sports gambling. As long as we have human umps, refs, and players there will always be that variance. Not that I've perfected anything but I've gotten better when I learned to expect the unexpected. Off my soap box for now....
