They are 7-0 on the runline this year as well as 7-0 on the standings. They have won their games by differentials of 9, 2,3,2,2,7 and 9.

And those numbers include 3 games on the road at La Angels and they won those games on the reverse runline.

Perhaps more impressive would be the Detroit Tigers. They have an 8-0 record on the runline this year by winning games by 4,11,6,4,3 , lost by 1 but covered runline and won by 2!

Those are both incredible runs in a sport where a lot of games are decided by 1 run

Well seeing that they play Minnesota, it shouldn't be too hard. There are no traps in baseball. IT all comes down to pitching and I like KC's chances today.

By the way, don't pass up a GREAT LINE on Detroit today

Well of course, but people weren't given them much credit last year either. I mean the runline accomplishment is pretty damn good.

Yeah they pitch as well as anybody. Ace Ventura and Duffy are as good as any 1-2 punch in baseball.

If they continue to score runs at this rate they will be really tough to beat.

I did not like the Kendry Morales signing but apparently its working out.

Reminds me of the 2011/2012 Texas teams.

2011 Texas coming off World Series appearance started hot out of the gate going 6-0 and 9-1 to start but settled down a bit, but still won 96 games

2012 Texas also started hot, started 16-5 and were the odds on World Series favorites the first two months when Hamilton was on a tear killing everything but they didn't even win the division when all was said and done

I think this Royals team and the 2011 Rangers team have a lot in common. Coming off a World Series loss, are they the AL Pennant Favorites? Maybe... KCR will settle down but are still a good pick to be a pennant contender, I see this team winning between 88 and 94 games.

IMO the Royals don't have as good of a lineup as those Rangers teams but its still a pretty good lineup

Offense last year was terrible until after the break. They treaded water till mid summer then got hot at right time when they started hitting better, which is usually who advances in mlb postseason and same with Frisco. Lineup pretty stout, starting pitching average, but deep I would say with no standou proven #1, pen is deep and good. Should be there making noise again late this year I would think.

Alex Rios was on both of those squads. Maybe he is the key.

Considering he'll be sitting on the bench with a cast on his hand for the next month...he doesn't matter very much right now

They would've won the World Series easily if it weren't for one man from Hickory, North Carolina. Wow, that must be frustrating.
