#12In a way... yes... I know he's old. But, he wasn't that bad this past season. I thought he spoke pretty upbeat.
But every person has there day. It sucks.
I'd like to know if this was ESPN's decision 100% or
Lou Holtz and ESPN's decision 50/50?
Sometimes it's a mutual split.Comment -

#13this sucks. watching him and Mark May battle was one of the best parts of the CFB season. Holtz was an easy target, but in the brief instances where he got over on May, he'd rub it in hard and it was hilarious.Comment -

#14What year was that? When a genius and fool are fighting how do you know which is the fool? Mark May deserves better.Comment -

#16there was always an instance at least once a season. like when May was hating hard on Notre Dame, but they ended-up making it to the NC game. May lost a bet and had to wear an Irish costume on air. or last season where Holtz was stumping hard for Ohio State to make the playoffs and May was constantly shredding them. Holtz looked like a million bucks after that one. the instances weren't many, but when Holtz got in some good licks it was memorable. don't get me wrong, i think May's great, but i'll miss their comic relief together.Comment -

#21I just have one quick question about College Game Day Saturday...
You know when Mark May, Lou Holtz, and Rece Davis do there segments late on Saturday? I'm still trying to figure out if it's taped or not? I remember one night watching it at 1AM Eastern (into Sunday morning...) and Lou Holtz looked tired. It also looked LIVE. It's tough on an old guy staying up that late and working all those hours on Saturday.Comment -
