Different team than last year. They don't have to rely on the homer & generate runs better. This offense may actually be better than last years.
Nats right now are starting pitching & Bryce Harper. Got to think they'll come around when they start getting their bats back

The Nats are an injury or two away from that division being wide open. Storen or Harper goes down, they are in trouble. They already can't score runs & the pen is average at best.

Miami is at +800? That might be the worst line I've ever seen.

The Braves are just proof that the baseball season is too long.
Everyone hits a lucky streak at some point. They just happened to hit theirs in the first week.

Anyone remember when the Marlins opened the season 11 and 1 in 2009? Feels the same to me.

From a life-long braves fan, if they can stay healthy, the bullpen stays above average, and Gomes/Markakis have good years, it's a solid bet with great value . The nats are an injury or 2 away from having a bad season . I know it's very very early, but if you guys don't think this team can compete for the division with the Phil's,fish, and muts, you need to watch more baseball. Also, Jon hart has made it very clear, if this team is in the hunt around the trade deadline , they will make a big move. Don't sleep on the braves this year.
