That's why they're giving him 5 reg season games. He'll build about 20, 22, 25, 28, 30 minutes and probably 30-35 for the first round playoffs if all goes right. I doubt he really goes much over 35 at all. Bulls trust Brooks to give them minutes anyway.

At this time or in the playoffs? Obviously Rose is going to be rusty as hell the next few games. But let's face it, a healthy Rose gives them a better chance (probably any chance) to win in the playoffs. Since Rose has been on the Bulls, in the playoffs the Bulls are 14-15 with Rose and 7-15 without Rose. They've also won something like 74% of regular season with and 58% without.

Let's be honest, he used to be elite. Non-elite players don't win an MVP. Nobody knows what level he might get back to. It seems unlikely he'll be elite again with all of the injuries, but still he's only 26. Nobody knows.
