Went back and forth trying to compare the two teams for the past two days... Finally settled on one thing to distinguish the two... Both have had great tournament runs. Both have beaten great teams on the way here.

3 weeks ago Wisconsin played Michigan State on a neutral court and tied in regulation and won the game in OT. Duke played Michigan State on a neutral court two days ago and blew them out by 20. That's the distinguishing factor for me. Only mutual opponent and Duke was vastly superior. Duke ML it is.

Watching box scores can help but watching the game can tell a different story. Wisconsin trailed by eleven with 8 minutes left and were getting outplayed. But, at that point, they raised their game and was able to erase that lead and shut michigan state down in overtime. Overtime, it was 11-0 for Wisconsin. Depending on what you like, that may or may not be impressive. Also, Dekker has been a different player in the tournament; he's playing like he's one of the three best player in all of college basketball.

Comparing the Wisconsin Duke game from December to tonight is like comparing the three game set between the Orioles and Royals from last May to the ALCS from last October.
