he had a bad postseason last year, but had a career best WHIP (1.03) during the regular season. Had some abdominal issues this spring, but looked good in his last start of spring training. People have been calling for his downfall several times now. I'll believe it when I see it.

without bryant in there i dont see any real game changing hitters for the cubs while cards are full of good hitters who are fresh

Lester threw 2 or 3 minor league games... why does it matter?

Lester had a dead arm and then pitched so-so in a minor league tuneup. It's opening day though. Jon Lester will be ready. Don't figure him (or Wainright) for more than 6 innings though, tops.

If you aren't into total's in baseball, it's not a sport you wager on often i suspect. There's more value in TT/Totals than their is ML's AT THIS POINT in the season, IMO...
