At what point does college basketball fix its officiating?

Ive never listened to people when they say its fixed, thought it was ridiculous to think that. But after watching this final four and championship I'll give it a thought, how could they make so many horrible calls and miss so many obvious calls in key moments. The Kentucky game with the shot clock expiring, you got 3 refs and their inbounding with 3 on the clock, how the world could they miss that? They should all know , ok we have 3 seconds we have to keep a very close eye on shot clock. And so many other horrible plays time and time again, what the hell

yeah i agree the officiating was horrid in the final four... its like the whole game is make up calls... and then the last 2 minutes of each half they just totally choke. they dont call shit the first 5 minutes of each half, and they call everything the last 2... and then they even get to review shit in the final two minutes and still get it wrong... i dont getit either. not an easy job, but they literally get more calls wrong than right... not even sure how that is possible. no consistency, its like the score and the time effect whether its a foul or not, which is bullshit

Yea they should have, I thought any hit to the face like that was automatic flagrant 1, incedental or not. And then tonight that ball was obviously off duke, the ball moved his finger bent, they even reviewed it again and made the wrong call. how do they get away with that

lmaooooo at "every call going dukes way" wisconsin had 2 fouls the whole first half, duke had 7 (winslow/okafor with 2 each forcing them to sit the final minutes of the 1st half)... then okafor gets called for his 4th (or maybe 3rd?) foul on a clean ass block by a ref that had the worst angle. ALL of the fouls called on wisconsin were legit except for the shoulder to the jaw one. grayson allen and tyus jones shit on wisconsin. they did miss the foot on the line though

These would be the posts if the Duke backers lost. Foul calls to get their best players out. Either way you cut it, someone will rant. It'll happen next championship in the next sport and the next one after that.

I would love to see it much more like soccer. just call it on the court and that's the way it is. allows much smoother flow. I hate when you are standing around with everyone else for 20 mins for them to look and see whether the ball grazed the dirt on his finger only to have it come out the same call as was called on the court.

just call that shit and play on.... the call is the call, deal with it and move on..players, coaches, fans..just move on..or riot..

Refs were bad all game. Duke got tortured by refs in 1H and Wisky got the worst of it in the 2H. So it goes.

are you serious? Wisconsin built a solid lead the first half AND the second half before the screwjob. Wisconsin doesn't foul much and Duke doesn't either. There is NO way that Wisconsin fouled Duke that much in the second half. So many BS and 1's

next yr they should just go to the replay only for all calls, then can have the refs on the court to get the balls and give them to the players, to inbound it, shot free throws or maybe just hold onto it till after timeouts so it will not roll off the court..............I think if they did that the games would go a lot faster and the refs will not mess up these games as bad as they have been..........
