I lean toward that Over with Astros but not enough to bet. I think Marlins is too close to call.

Disagree on Rays, but def agree on Oak. Tough calls for me on the other two.

I hate these bets. Book gets to lock up my money for 6 months? I can find better investments for my capital.

If you're being 100% if you're br on any given day, you're going to go broke anyway. Tying up 5-10% of your money on futures that, you find an edge on is not a bad investment assuming you plan to actually make money gambling

I shipped some on TB under 78.5...where'd you get 79.5?
MIA is tough...if either Jose Fernandez or Giancarlo go down, it's all over baby! Too much variance with that team I'd say. Also, Giancarlo will be playing his first whole season after signing that monster contract last year. I'd like to think Giancarlo has enough heart to give it his all...but the simple fact is players tend to suck after they get paid.

I didn't want to play two teams in the same division, so I played this wager and dropped Rays.
4/5/15 8:40am $100.00 $445.93 Pending 3 Team Parlay
Pending 4/6/15 3:10pm Props Baseball 26005 BAL regular season wins over 82½ -130* vs BAL regular season wins under 82½ (Fixed Price)
Pending 4/6/15 4:10pm Props Baseball 26043 PIT regular season wins over 85 -125* vs PIT regular season wins under 85 (Fixed Price)
Pending 4/6/15 10:10pm Props Baseball 26048 SFO regular season wins under 84 -140* vs SFO regular season wins over 84 (Fixed Price)
Basically Baltimore over 82.5, Pittsburgh over 85, and Giants under 84

Never thought about doing a parlay, good luck Seaborne...
No one has answered yet about what kind of units you throw on these props and futures... I'm curious.

Tons of variance in team wins over a season. Probably safe to keep things max 2u, mostly 1u or under

No more than two units because you are letting the books hold your money a long time for better odds

A great bettor makes ~10-25% profit per year. If you have, say, a 5% edge, putting a smallish fraction of your br for a 5% profit (on average) over 6 months is not a bad investment.

you are correct. but I didn't want anybody to think that they should put 35% of their bankroll on it. LOL

Yea 35% rule is in effect. I don't know about 34% and below but things happen at 35% everytime.
