My first sports wager ever was the XFL championship game at the LA Coliseum circa 2000ish. The guy who got the tickets had to stop at his bookie to get a bet down and talked me into laying 100 on LA to win. I remember being super pumped when LA smashed them and we hit it, then being disappointed when I only made 75 because I had no idea what a ML was
