Guy needs to be on the Cubs opening day roster

who cares about saving 1 more year before free agency there is no salary cap in baseball and the Cubs need every win they can get this season.

they may regret this if the Cardinals win the Central over them by 2 games.

its funny that nobody does that anymore.

Sammy Sosa was the last guy to do that i think.

With those new Marruci bats i guess you dont need to cork them.

I usually just take a nice shaved aluminum bat.... and wrap some wood around it. No one would ever know.

He won't be up until after 1st month. Cubs have already stated. We will be in first place before he even comes up. Just a puro bonus!

Cubs probably have best roster in mlb

they should be -300 to win division

                    its 9 games

even if you think his WAR is gonna be 10.0 for the year, which is an exagerated. His extrapolated difference over those 9 games would be about 1/2 game

1/2 game vs control for an entire extra year

JJ have you seen what the real odds are?

I think +100 is a fair line on this.

There is a good deal of parity in the NL Central.

Brewers and Reds will likely be under .500 but the Pirates and Cardinals could both compete with the Cubs for the division title.
