I have only been a few times but I find Vegas is really only nice in small doses.

If you are like me and you do not play blackjack or poker, play small enough units that you will have no problems betting at offshore books (Canada much less restrictive re: Offshores though.) and hate the frat boy / loud beligerent fat dude tourist crowd, there is not much for you in Vegas.

Probably depends how nice the city you live in is though.
